Discover Bristol Join our short, guided bicycle rides for cyclists of all ages and levels of experience - discover Bristol with confidence… and have fun along the way. The rides take place on Saturdays throughout summer and will go around the city at a gentle ambling pace, with plenty of stops. They will last about 3 hours. With Discover Bristol you will: " Get to know your way around Bristol by bike " See interesting and memorable things and places " Get acquainted with the free Bristol cycle map " Learn how to reach the countryside on most rides. Experienced Bristol Cycling Campaign members will be leading and supporting the rides. Basic bike adjustments and advice will be available from Dr Bike at the start of each ride. A qualified cycle trainer from Life Cycle UK will accompany us and give help on safe cycling in traffic. More information about Discover Bristol by Bike and the programme of mapped rides can be found on our website: www.discoverbristol.org.uk Our rides will take place on the following Saturdays, starting from various easy to reach places around the city: July 11th and 25th August 8th, 22nd and 29th September 5th The final Discover Bristol bike ride, on September 5th, will be a full day cycling, including a Treasure Hunt with clues based on the preceding rides. Registration for Discover Bristol is £5 for an individual or £7 for a family and it includes membership of Bristol Cycling Campaign. Existing members can register free of charge.
